My '07 came stock with 285/70/17s BFG AT's on it. I suspect you can order them with the '08.
I'm in Michigan this week, got 16.6 MPGs on the last tank, all highway driving. (See sig)
I pull around 8000 pounds often, with 3.73 gears. You should have no issues at all pulling your load with the 4.10 gears.
