Next week I will be ordering my fabtech 3.5 lift and looking for a good tire that will fit a 17x9 wheel. There is a local guy selling a set of bfg 315/70/17 brand new at a really good price but I am afraid they will not fit correct. I do not want them to rub. If any one has simular set ups and could shed some light that would ge great. Thanks Dan
From what I know, the stock rims with 315s will rub a little, but you will never notice it unless you go lock to lock. Other than that don't worry about it cutting some of your turning radius.
yes those 315/70/17 will fit the 17x9 rims. I did a search about it on google. The search led me to a nissan titan forum and some guy on their is running 17x9 inch rims on 315/70/17 BFG a/t's

His rims arent stock though toredor. So they shouldnt rub, but it all depends on the backspacing of the rim.
Dan, I had a Procomp 4" lift on my X with BFG AT 315x75x15 and 10x15 Procomp wheels that would do OK during normal driving. Like Toreador said, they did rub at lock to lock turns but also if I braked hard while doing a moderate turn or coming off a steep incline and turning. If finally got to the point that I replaced 4" with 6" Fabtech and am much happier. I do need to tell you that my wife says I am WAY TOO picky about things like that. My 2 cents.
