Axle code question
Does anybody know what the 4L axle ratio is? It is in an 06 F450 diesel. Thanks for any help.

The axle ratio should be on the tag on the rear differential.

I was trying not to have to crawl under it since it is sitting in a muddy area. Maybe somebody has a code list. I hope.

Thank you very much. It is not too bad. I was thinking of buying it but did not want to even think about a 4.88. I am also looking at an 02 F350 7.3, with 25k. Can't decide. Thanks again.

Thanks for the list. I just picked up a 2006 F250 with the 4N code and have been looking around for the decoder. 4.10LS. I like.
