Well first off before ever knowing about this site i needed a truck with better fuel mileage, so i decided to go to the FORD dealer ship to look at some diesel all in all i ended up with a 05 PSD with 52,000 now has 58, already had a tranny leak and up infront under the engine a hose was leaking at the same time! so took it in got it fixed for $100 deductable, got it back now seems to be squirting oil from on of the bolts that holds down to intake elbow an also coolant seems to be disapearing into thin air!!?? so im very upset with Fix Or Repair Daily! sorry for baggin but the point of buying a new truck was to have something realiablesince work is low.!
any suggestions on what to do?
any way i can sue them for this??
LOL, sorry but sueing them just makes me laugh. You bought a used truck which unfortunately for you was probably for sale because of these problems. It's to bad you weren't able to run an oasis report on the truck before purchasing, would have maybe changed your mind on that truck. Its possible that once you get these problems fixed it may be a solid truck for you.

Sell the frickin thing and buy a different brand if ya aint happy with it!!
You need to take it back to the dealer and give them the list that you gave us and have them fix it all. The disappearing coolant is not a good sign and you really need to have the dealer address this.
get these few things fixed for another $100 and you will have a very strong vehicle. every brand out there has issues, whether ford, dodge, chevy, samsung, LG, Sony, GE, they all have their problems.

A suggestion: Did the dealership do any work around the parts which are leaking? I and several of my friends have problems with a certain unnamed Ford/Jeep dealer in Northeast Atlanta area which creates more problems every time you take it in. Prime example-my Jeep had a trans leak from the pan after I had them do a fluid and filter change on it. They fixed that, but while it was in there the second time, they performed a recall on a steering part. When I picked up my Jeep, it began making a whistling noise every time you turned the steering wheel. Took it back in, suddenly the steering gear box is cracked. Warranty again, but in the process of replacing the part that was attached to the part they replaced the first time, they stripped out the bolts on my air filter assembly and told me it was defective. Weird how that just keeps generatingmore work for them to be paid under teh factory warranty. My neighbor's 04 SD 6.0 has had similar issues with this same dealership.
I guess what I am trying to say is, if it now has problems with parts attached or in similar areas where they worked, take it back and jump in the service manager's S&!%. (or find another dealer).
You didn't buy a new truck. You bought someone elses junk.

i wouldn't really say he bought someone else's junk, i mean there are people who havent had a sign of problems up untill over 70k miles or more. The only real was to see whats going on is wait for the OASIS and see what was already done to this truck.
For On Road Dependability you should ensure the dealer you're taking it to has Certified 6.0 Technicians. If it's loosing coolant and you don't see a puddle underneath the truck then it's likely to have blown head gaskets. This could be caused by sticking turbo vanes and/or excessive boost.
For Off Road Dependability you should have an OASIS run in the special sticky thread just for that purpose at the top of this Forum. This will tell you exactly what Ford Service has done with that truck.
Well suing if you ask me is taking the problem a bit to far and i wouldnt do it if you ask me take the truck to the dealer and get these problems addressed for surely get an oasis report good luck

Some of the guys here are a little sensitive when you rag on the oval, so chose your words carefully ( its like bad mouthing there Momma or go horizontal with there sister) Hey ou may have bought a truck with troubles, good news is that you are still under warranty bad news is you will have to chase the gremlins out of the TRUCK YOU BOUGHT to be happy.
My 03 has been acting up w/ a mystery illness but a good dealership or mechanic/technician can make all the difference. I love my truck but when thing go wrong and all products have there issues it gets a little nuts. Hang in there work with the dealer instead of against them ( if you can) & if that dealer sucks find one that wants your buisness.
Oh yeah give up on the Sue thing its just ridiculous if you mention that word to a dealer well I wouldn't expect them to get all warm and fuzzy. People like to think they can be helpful and problem solvers offer them that chance and you may be suprised with the respone you get.
thanks alot of ur advise people really appretiate it is just that its goes in with two problems an comes out with two other ones.. an i told em about it an they said if its an area we worked in well fix it but if not its another 100 deductable thats sum B/S
an sorry for the Fix Or Repair Daily i mean i luv the truck just a little dissapointed.
another question since it only has the 0-100,000 thousand mile warranty would that cover the heads?
Look in the warranty book in the owners manual packet but I believe it is the engine only ( not accessories) and the parts that get the fuel to the engine.
