Has anyone replaced the hard plastic lines that run to the hubs with the same type of rubber lines that are used on the bottom portion. I hope that made sense! I am talking about the lines that run from 1 hub to the other along the frame. I am having trouble finding my leak. Truck is a 99 F-350 PSD. Stuck in defrost mode no matter what I do. Thanks ahead of time
I used the braided lines from DieselSite. They are pricey but work well and look good. They fixed my leak for a while but I now have another which I amk pretty sure is inside of the hubs. Going to ditch the whole system and install Warn manual hubs.
Just for sh@2s and giggles. While I had the same problem.I taped the vacuum solenoid a few times with a wrench. It must have unstuck something in there.because it fixed the problem.that was in the fall, still working now. What the hell give it a shot.

was ur pump running constantly when u before u tapped it or did it just never come on? just asking because mine runs constantly from the time the key is in the on possition till i turn it off so i figured i have a leak somewhere but have had no luck at finding it.
It runs for quite some time now and before.I think it takes a while for that little pump to get the vacuum it needs. But I too was stuck on trying to find the vacuum leak.Just saying its worth a try.Cost nothing.
