I will make this story short, anyway Saturday my dad was coming in off the lake from ice fishing, and he needed to cross an ice ridge about 3ft from shore right in front of the lake access, when my dad went out that morning it was a lot lower, he later found out. Well he had the 92 Explorer and when he drove over the ridge he high centered the explorer on top of the ridge, basically niether the front or rear tires were on the ground. So he gives me a call I drive over the the access, hook up the tow rope and pull the Explorer of the ice ridge, even though I was sitting in 1' of snow, one good yank and it was off the ice ridge, it worked great, one more reason I love my 7.3L. As my dad said the snowmobilers that stopped to help "if my sons truck can't pull me off of this I'm screwed" The G/F was sitting in the truck next to me she was very impressed at how easily my truck dislodged the Explorer.

I got stuck in the mud a few nights ago and it took 3 toyotas to pull me out. I have 38 inch 395/70/17 tires and I still got high centered in some ruts. The mud was almost to my doors. Wish I had a camera. Two toyotas hooked up to my tail end and yanked pretty hard but that wasn't budging me. I was worried that they were gonna hurt their trucks. Then another one came along with a 9000 pound winch and he helped too. It came out in one piece. Nothing Broken. I think the 3 toyotas barely wieghed more than me!
