They meen dual shocks (2 on each side of front axle) and you need to know whether or not your truck is single or dual shock. Just look at the front axle and see if there are 1 or 2 shocks on each side.
Yes you will clear 37x13.5"s easily.
For a 13.5" wide tire 15x10 rims are fine. What size/brand of tire are you planning on running? Not every brand has the same height/width options.
PS Get the Skyjacker SYSTEM (replacment leaf springs) NOT the Kit with rear blocks!
I'm using it for running in mud and daily driving. I live in a small town on a mountain so my daily driving rarely goes over 30 mph. I will be replacing the 302 for a 351 with 420 hp from Pro-formance unlimited. As for the tires I was thinking the 37 13.50 15 M/T Baja claw radial.
Oh and thanks for the info on the SYSTEM. I was kinda wondering if I should go with that.........I had a choice of putting money into this bronco or buying a new truck. The money is going into the bronco. I dont care what anyone says....
Are going to get two custom driveshafts made up, and new front and rear rings and pinions too. 4.56s at least. Don't forget longer stainless steel brake lines.
Sounds like it's gonna be one fun Bronco.

The biggest thing to be aware of when lifting a TTB vehicle that much is that you must be meticulus in the alignment, i would sujest taking it to a shop and im a total DIY guy...
With 420 rwhp your rear 8.8" axle isnt going to last long unless your VERY reserved with the skinny pedal.
If you are looking for mud/DD tires in 37x13.5" i would sujest the Toyo Mud Terrains, they last much longer in road and handle pretty good in all but the soupy mud.

You actually will be able to re-use the stock D shafts if you want, you just wont have more than 3-4 inches of shaft in the Transfer case. I agree with the 4.56" gearing (4.10's at very least) And khadma is right you will need extended brake lines (available in the skyjacker package)
I would like to lift my 96 someday, but I have a list of projects to complete first.
A 6in suspension lift with 36in Fun Country's and Bushwacker cut outs would give the my Bronco a low/wide look - which I like - and 4.56s with Det. Locker in the rear and a Det. Truetrac in front. This is about 5000.00 worth of parts and labor. Well someday.
bronco_dawg,
IF you use lower gears you may have to get new carriers too, so you should put in after market traction devices while you are at it.
godblessmud,
I hear you about the DS on dawgs ride. It may not need more extension since the truck is a DD. YA GOT $5000.00 SO I CAN LIFT MY FSB TOO! I'LL pay ya back a 1.00 a day for 5000 days!

with a 37" tire i would go 4.88 or even 5.13. I would get the drive shafts lengthened for sure. guys going SAS on there trucks end up needing drive shaft work and the height is similar to what this lift will be.
