57-60 Styleside hinges question

I bought the hinges that LMC sells for the styleside. I had to use 6 washers to get them to work. Are these the correct hinges? My truck didn't have the original hinges on it, so I don't know what they look like.

There is the possibilty that you were sent the Hinges for the Flareside which are different from the Styleside.

they look like the correct ones. the styleside hinges curve up while the flareside hinges are straight. the Dennis Caprenter online cat shows the falreside hinges. i have my off the truck, so i can take some pics with measurements to compare the two to see if they are off and send them to you if you would like.

not sure why you required so many shims. seems kinda of excessive.

by the way, nice looking truck.

Without the washers the gate hit the bed and you could not close the gate, the washers were needed to get the proper clearance.

Thanks for the truck comment

Those look like Bonus Built hinges, although I doubt there are a lot of differences across all the years. Can you take a really close-up shot?

This is about as good as I could get since it is dark outside.

Your hinges do not look like they have the same Curve that mine do & I'm able to slip my pinky finger between the bottom of the tailgate & the bed. Mine have a measurement of an 1 1/2" from being flush bolted to the bed box to the outside curve of the hinge.
