Ive got the front lines all connected now im working with the rear lines at the rear axle.
There is a brake hose that is bolted to the rear axle that acts as a 3way. It connects to a line running the length of the car to the master cylinder and also directs fluid to the lines leading to either drum.
The brake lines i have are 3/16" and they screw into the brake hose perfectly. However they seem to be too small to screw into the drum. Is this normal?
Ive done the brakes on my '78 ford which is basically the same setup but i dont think i encountered this problem.
This is a strange and annoying problem because it seems so basic but i dont know whats going on. Any help is appreciated.
You should be able to get adapters if they aren't the same size. If your rear brakes are factory, try a different line. You may have gotten the wrong one.
