Arrow Low Beams don't work ????

Hi all,
I recently acquired an 84 F250 6.9 automatic.
The low beam headlights don't work (high beams do).
I checked fuses, connections and changed the dimmer switch.
Any other likely area to check ?

Thanks

Are you sure that the head lights are good? The low beams may be out. Are the sockets to the low beams getting voltage when you turn them on?

If you have a meter or testlight, you can check for voltage down at the dimmer switch. With the headlights on, you should have voltage coming in on one wire, and voltage coming out on one of the other two. The wires going out are the lowbeam wire and the highbeam wire.

Pull one of the lights out and check the contuity of the low side. The low beams might be burned out.
