fiberglass and tilt front ???

Two questions:

1. What are the cons of using fiberglass parts on a daily driver as compared to steel?

2. Anyone here have a tilt front end? Or seriously considered one? I know USBody has a fender/hood/rad-support one and Showcars Bodyparts has a fender/hood/valances one, but again, I'm wondering if the cons outweigh the pros for a daily driver.

I'm mulling over tilt ideas, inner fender issues, etc. I don't know if I could handle the split fender look, but a slide and tilt may be a huge PITA. And again, it is a daily driver, not a show or drag truck.

Any arguments or opinions are welcome.
