I found some cheap AMP powersteps on Ebay. I read the description, they are new and listed for a supercab (which I do have), so I bid. ME being a fool then decided to cross reference the guys part numbers to AMP and I found they are for a crew cab. Does anyone want to out bid me??? I sent the guy an email to void my bid. Anyone know how to cancel a bid after it has been made. Good news is there are 6 days left and I will most likely get outbid. ebay it # 300194166871 if you are curious. I would to state I have no ties to the seller, I am just hoping to get out bid so I am not stuck with something that I cant use.
I believe that you can withdraw a bid, but it has been years since I have looked at eBay. In fact, it the item is advertised for a supercab, but the part number is for a crewcab, it is misleading and you would not have to complete the purchase.
i'm still trying to figure out how to withdraw it. I think they make it complicated on purpose. And I am not going to ask my wife for help with this one. I thought I would post it because it was/is a good deal for some one with a crew cab.
If it's a hell of a deal you can easily make them work on a Supercab.
You can either cut them (the end of the steps is just an end cap...unbolt it, remove it, cut the step, bolt the cap back on).
Or do what I did.....and just use a hammer to roll a small piece at the end of the pinchweld under the cab so that you can keep them full length without having them hit anything.
He also shows the measurement in the ad so you can always check to see if it is the right one for your truck. I was actually hoping they were for CC and I might have bid on them - great option, especially for keeping the steps up and out of the way for offroad, hunting, etc. I just about ripped my tube steps off this year going through some nasty stuff while hunting - forgot how long these crew cabs are and just about got high centered.
