ford additive vs oreilly's additive
Today i bought my first bottle of ford diesel additive. Let me say that stuff works good! My engine runs alot smoother, but I noticed something. The bottle is EXACTLY the size and shape of the oreilly's brand fuel additive "Diesel Power!" the only differance is the color, the ford additive being darker. The "Diesel Power!" additive has three different formulas. The first is a cleaner, the second a cetane booster, and the third I think is a additive to increase the life of diesel fuel. Could the ford additive be a mixture of all three, or the first two?

I have used Diesel Kleen additive and it works good. Definately smoothed then engine loss. As for increasing engine longevity that could take 100 of thousands of miles for these engines. I would venture to say that it does lubricate the injection pump and injectors because it has a thicker viscosity than regular diesel.
