nasty carpet

Hey peeps,
I just ripped the smelly old carpet out of my bronco. I would like to put down a material similar to bed liner. I want something that will be durable and that I can also just use a water hose to clean. CHEAP IS GOOD! Any ideas?

DupliColor makes a bedliner kit you can either
brush on or it also comes in spray cans but
that is rather expensive. You can buy it almost
any parts store Walmart etc.

Just paint it don't waste good money on it since your not really hauling much that
can tear up the bed paint, you don't really have to worry about slipping when you
are sitting and driving. I used old rubber mud flaps for my floor they damp the noise
alot better than the carpet especially the weird vibrations if you just left it painted/
duralined etc. The rubber mud flaps or the rubber cargoe area deals they sell at
auto parts can also be pulled out and used for traction if you ever have to resort to
that as well as using them to lay on if you have to get under the truck to work on it.
I haven't heard of how well the brush in liners dampen the vibrations and noise that
comes through, I can tell you nothing on the metal vibrates and transfers heat pretty bad!!
