98 150 ext. cab, i bent up my 3rd door a couple of weeks ago. I found a door for sale from a 99. same color, same trim. i am not sure on the window, but i can reuse mine if needed. The question is will it bolt in just like my original one???? i was thinking that the 99 model year had a differnt door handle inside, is this a non factor? Thanks
If the right front door will interchange then I would think the rear one would. I don’t know if it does but it could help on your search for interchangeability.
I know the interior panels and door handle location as well as lock actuators were redesigned in 99 for the front doors - but I"m not sure if that would have changed the actual latch location or operation of the rear doors.... I guess I'd take a couple pictures and measurements were the door catch is and the hinges. It wouldn't make sense to redesign the whole works but who knows??
Search http://www.car-part.com/ . They interchange rt. rear doors for Super Cabs to be the same through 2003.
THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! I was not aware of that website. It appears to me that they are all interchangeable. I will be purchasing this door now.
Now i am one step closer to selling. Next is front rotors and pads, rear drums and shoes, and that dog gone left manifold leak. i just picked up a new manifold, and studs. I've got all the parts in the barn to fix it, but had to get the mach1 hood and trunk lid installed, so i could pull it outside. I just got the hood and trunk lid back from paint shop. I had a repaint on the hood, but left the matte black stripe off, and i removed the rear wing. I think its looking pretty decent now. I just have to wait till april or untill the roads have no salt on them to drive it. That Sucks!
