Midway is where we used to fill up all the time. Then we started going to Phillips 66. I think 66's gas was a bit better. I almost always go to Dillons now. I get a discount for my Dillons card and they always take my check. And for every $100 of grocery's we buy we get a fill up with a .10 a galon discount. Just hate that I have to prepay. Have to guess how much it's gonna cost to fill up.
So what happens if you pay too much on the prepay? do they give you a refund? I guess I have never run into that situation before.
Or do the Gas ***** make you pour the rest of the liquid gold out on to the ground? (do you still get the discount on the gas you have to pour on the ground?)
I never prepay, always use a card. For us in newton to get the Dillon's discount we have to pay about what we think it will coast, then take the receipt in to the clerk who makes the dicount then gives you cash back, if you have your dillons receipt. But if you pay with your card, and swipe your dillons card, you get your 4 cents for being a dillons card holder then another 10 cents off when you take the receipt in to the casher--- Kind of a flaw in their system - - But it is all redeemed at a KWick trip, so you can only get $50 in gas... Grrr So much of a hassel we rarely do it.
Nooooooooo. No gas on the ground. Ifin you do the whirly lights start a flashin and the sireeens goin off. Then 86 little folks on a moped arrive and make 37 laps around the parking lot. Well the rest is not somethin I want to post.
They just give you the cash back like they do when I shop for grocery's and need a bit of cash. They let me write my check for $20 over so I don't have to make another stop at the bank afore I go get Ben and Shadow a cheese burger from Micky D's.
Thanks Dan for getin us back on track. I started a post that we were a fair peice from the topic but we had folks a postin so I just joined in instead.
Yup! I heard that. Seems the illegals had to have obtained a SSN and paid taxes in to receive a check. Guess it's kind of like running an illegal business (speak easy or such) and payin taxes. Then gettin a check back.
The way I understand it they gives us money, we buy stuff, store make money, and economy rebounds... but the deficit geets bigger.... If my account was overdrawn, and I was still writing checks, somone would slap my wrist.....
I guesss a band aid is better then no aid. I am thinking Bush wants to go down as a good guy in every ones mind. But history is written by the winners... So we'll see how that goes.
So the big compition is for Obama, Hillary, McCain.... And Duane.
FORDNUT Two Thousand Eight... He's a late contender, and is running on a slightly small campain budget is why you might not have heard much about him. But He might have a chance?
(Sometimes people wonder about the voices in my head... I don't... I just step back and let them argue.)
Ok, first on the agenda is to hire all my Ford truck buddies as my cabinet members, we may not be the most political bunch but at least we are honest!
Require all fuel be a Bio blend (10% bio for diesel and 10% ethenol for gas). That would effectively reduce or emissions and cut 10% of our foreign oil dependancy by 10%, it's a good start
Then, all goverment official pay would be caped at 60k a year. That would help cut our deficit AND put goverment officials in the same tax bracket as the people they are supposed to represent.
Lobbiests will be shot on site, along with anyone caught burning the flag.
Funeral protesters will be arrested and removed from the gene pool.
Get our soldiers back home!! Don't worry, the terrorist won't follow them back. In the rare case 500 foreign soldiers try to invade our coastlines we have rednecks. Just follow the trail of beer cans and shoot gun shells and you will find 500 dead terrorists.
I will create incentives for big business to keep thier business here in the states.
