Hey Fellas,
Chesapeake Crabber is my name. I'm new to the forum. I've got a 97 250 Stroker. No upgrades yet. It's been a good truck. But its startin to nickle and dime me. I 've had alot of the problems already mentioned on forum, GP, GPR , vaccum pump, CPS, throttle postion sensor and now I have oil spewing out on top and front of engine. Mechanic said HPOP o-rings might be shot. I'm not familar with this, any suggestions on oil problem. Not doing any upgrades till everything else is straightened out. Thanks for letting me aboard.
well if it is spewing out of the top end that would indicate something in the hpop system because of the high pressures involved. i have never heard of this before, but that doesn't really mean anything. there are a lot of different places it could be leaking from the hpop system. look and see where and what part of the engine it is leaking from.
This is going to sound stupid, but are all the lines tight? My dad had this happen on his, we thought it was a bad line, turned out to be VERY loose on the HPOP. Just a thought. Post some pics if you get a chance, there are a few guys here tha will get you on the rad in a hurry.
