'02 Explorer cruise control engine surge
Hi, new to this site. Owned Ford products all my life & worked on them all. New stuff drives me insane though. Can anyone answer a question about engine rev's increasing on slight hills, but no kickdown occurs while in cruise control mode? My Explore XLT is A 2002. The RPMs will increase 300 to 600 & then return actual driveing RPMs of 2100
within 2 to 3 seconds. Thanks for any help.
