Hi......who or where can I locate 'specs' or info on CALIFORNIA EMISSION
CONTROLS and what they are for a F600 Eng.class 330-390cu.in.heavy-use
multifeul class ........
model yr. is 1978. GVW 24.000lbs.
The Cab & Engine is FORD. All other major componenents are Rockwell, NewProcess/NP, Chelsea & Waltco.
All Wheel Drive if needed. #3 shift levers.
1-4&R TRANS is one stick.
4H-N-2H 4L TRANSFER CASE 2nd stick/
PTO IN OUT 3rd '' ''
6ton bed winch 4th
Last registered in 1999. Went to current PNO Status.
DMV ONLY REQUIRED ME TO WEIGH IT THEN...
This years registration is here now and indicatates 'SMOG' TEST REQ.
Stations inform me that your kidding right. Its a mile off the ground
and looks like military thing with the platform for a front gaurd and cab
protector in back w/ flood lites and turn & brakes lites over the cab.
The City of Oceanside hates it but we love it. 'let it go'.
almost forgot the carb is a 4bbl huge thing with a govenor
valvecovers say POWER by FORD ? No. 1 cyl is on pass side front and
goes 1234. Drivrsd is 5678. 8 by masr cylndr. dist in front.
Engine color appears to be stock and is LT GREY.
HAS FEUL EVAP, PCV & WARM AIR TUBE...............................

Now that is a truck! Lol. I would suggest checking out our tech forums (Forums tab at the upper left) and scrolling through the boards. I'm sure there are some experts here that can help you out. The engine forums may be the one for you: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/forum51/ There is also a general auto discussion where you might get pointed in the right direction. The people are here that can help you with your ride.
