Just lookin at your truck, pretty col, how do you find the 6 banger handles a 3/4 ton 4x4? people round here don't believe me and Sherm that they are one of the better Ford power plants.

the 300i6 is the best motor Ford Makes. Built Ford Tough, was written because of that Engine.

I have the 300i6 in my 94 F150 1/2 ton. With the cat removed, she has a nice throaty voice now.

That I6 is perfecect for what I do with the truck. Not so good on the highway, but it rarely see's it.I couldn't ask for a better engine in the bush with a load of fire wood or the camper on it.The truck need's work.Right now I'm consentrating on the running gear and the front end.Meanwhile I'm looking for a guy to do the welding on the flat deck I want to build.

Sherm: I paid $500 for my truck, The guy I bought it from was told the Tramission was shot. He had it listed for $1000, I offered him $500, he took it. The transmission is fine. It needed some elctrical work (lights were shorting out), I had to find out why it was stalling all over the place (plugged CAT) removed the cat, needed from front fuel pump replaced, (now needs rear pump). It also needs a rotor replaced (one is warped).
