X-plan Q's?
I am about to purchase a 2007 F-150 Lariat using the x-plan.
Rebates available in my area are as follows:
Ford Rebate = $5,500
FMCC Rebate = 1,000
RCL (Owner Loyalty) = 1,500
Total Rebate = 8,000
I’m being told that the RCL rebate is not available on x-plan. The x-plan website seems to say that it is. What the dealer is suggesting is that I don’t use the x-plan, but buy at invoice so I can get that rebate. Invoice is a little higher than x-plan. I feel like the dealer is just trying to make a better deal for himself. I’m ready to go elsewhere but I wanted to see if I am correct first.
Also, does anyone have the Tier 0 finance rates for 60 & 72 months?
Thanks!
Through 2/13/08 there are $6,500 in customer cash, then $1,500 in "aged inventory" incentives goes away, leaving rebates on 2007 F-150s of $5,000 through 3/31/08. It is possible that Ford could increase these - who can tell with that bunch. (Aged inventory = F-150s invoiced prior to 10/01/07, I think.)
Tier 0 rates on '07 F-150 is 0.0% for 60 months, and 1.9% for 72 months. These rates are scheduled through 3/31/08, but again, could change without notice.
Good luck with your purchase!
