Question Lets hear it!!

WTF ? this auction was found by using Ford FE in ebays search field.
320207663464

How the hell ?
1. Is that ear and easy repair ?
2. Those heads worth what they're going for ?
3. Arent they thermo heads ? I see bosses and plugs... tat would mean a hump in the port yes ? I guess #'s mean more than performance to some folks ?

OK so this is just assurance I need to list the COAE 6090 D's is what I'm hearing!!! Hell if the exhaust manifolds went for 124.00, imagine!!!!

I saw them 2 days ago and was wondering the exact same thing. But then again I'm not very intelligent on Fe history so what do I know. Glad I'm not the only one wondering.

Put Streetmaster in the search.

Those "N" heads are going to make someone happy.

What makes me want to vomit is the obscene prices people are charging and paying for a Toploader on Ebay. For God's Sake the people are paying for an ID Tag. They are either small shaft or large and wide ratio or narrow. It is not like they are magic because they have a GT500 tag. I just want a good tranny that I can flog. Oh well, I guess my rant is over.

That's about the going rate for a set of CJ heads. i'd never pay it. Especially when you can buy a NEW set from Dove with whatever date code you need. Its all because of the guys restoring Mustangs need the date code more than anything. The early '69 heads always go higher.
Oh, and Greyhound is doing frieght now, so its not too redneck.

I wasn't aware that Dove would date code heads for you?

LOL years ago before overnight express service that's how I got parts overnight using Greyhound. I'd have to hang around the bus terminal waiting for the damm bus to roll in. I used to get press parts from Boston this way when the machine was down and we needed them yesterday!! LOL

So what was the final price on those CJ heads?

$933.79 was the final on the CJs above. A little high, but as I said, the early heads always did bring a higher price.

Hmmm never noticed that before. Maybe because I was drooling over all the heads they make. LOL.

Ebay is just expensive!! Friend of mine was looking for CJ heads. I found him a really nice set bare, non ported, not milled to death for $400. Date codes from 69 or 70 as there were several pairs available in this stash. Ya gotta know where to shop!

I bought my CJ heads back in about '92? for $500. Completely stock, though freshened up. I ended up putting better springs to match cam.
