One thing I would consider is if the online engine does have a problem who is doing the warrenty work??? Atleast if the ford reman has problems you know who is going to work on it and that they know what they are doing.
I am going to stick with a ford reman engine. what do you think of the 5100 cost is that a good price or an unreal price and something is missing? One dealership says 6900.00 another is stating 5100. Makes me happy confused and scared all at the same time!!!!!
I wouldn't think that it would be that big of difference in price. I would ask for a written estimate showing exactly what they are doing and at what cost they are doing it at so you can see, or get that price written and show the other dealer and see what they will do to save on the tow bill.
For $5,100 from the FORD dealer, I wouldn't even be talking about it. It would be in there. I'd do as recommended though and get a written estimate of EXACTLY what they will be doing for that money. Sounds too cheap to me.
The quote did go up, got it yesterday. Went from 5100 to 5500, ok with that, got the truck over there yesterday should get it all done by Friday. Can't wait to get my baby back. I am driving my father in laws honda pilot ...ugh. Thanks for the input!!!
