hahaa. no. just in central arkansas. heck there isnt but a few bucks difference between the two three and four. so why not?! Cheap guarantee? well maybe not cheap.
I run a 3 row from Advance auto; in my 65 with a 60bore over with 10.5:1 compression also with a C-6. I drive my mostly within 25 to 50 miles radius and running around 185 to 190 on temp. If a four row is roughly same cost level and will fit I would buy it. I don't think you'll ever see a difference between a 3 & 4 with a 302.
I pay I beleive $139.00 for my radiator.
I installed a 2 row alum. in my 65 with a 351W a couple of years ago and it did just fine here in SE Okla. it was left over from a dirt track car I had,was still in good shape I got it from Speedway but as I remember it was about 150 bucks
I've run the stock radiator for 7 years now with a 302 in my 61 and never had a problem. Many times it's been to the desert or sat in traffic never a sputter or hiss.
Keep in mind if the trans is automatic and then if the radiator is also cooling the transmission and if there is AC to consider or not. I added a tremendous heat load in the last couple of years with the automatic and the AC. The '72 radiator is keeping up fine but this is a stock 302 and a 165º t-stat. A non-stock motor may require a shroud or 3-core unit. (Oh, the '72 radiator was a direct fit after I unsoldered the mount brackets and swapped sides.)
