99 f250 starting problems
I need help on 1999 f250 sd with v10 99,000 miles, truck will not start after driving. it happened two time in past 2 weeks. will start an run fine but sometimes will not start after turning it off. sounds like it is flooding (getting too much gas) and sometimes it will just crank but not start at all. My machanic drove it two days and cannot get it do duplcate problem. computer shows no codes After letting it sit it starts with no problems. anyone have any ideas???

I'm not an expert but it might be something ignition related. Heat building up in the electronics somewhere might be causing you an issue. I had the exact problem on a 5.0 Mustang and it was my ignition control module. Not sure if the COP ignitions have a smilar control.

When you say it will not start, are you saying the starter does turn the engine over? You only have this problem when it is warm?
Also, did you mechanic scan for pending codes?
