I was working on my truck when the four wire harness just fell on the floor. I know that sounds crazy but it was pieced together from a previous owner. I am now towing with the truck every once in a while and need trailer lights. I was wondering if anyone had a wiring diagram to show where the 4 wires on the new pigtail need to go. This is on a 1976 F150. THanks
Yes it is green, yellow, brown and white. When looking at my truck I have the three wires you are talking about and that is how I wired it, so do I just need to ground the white to my chassis or is there a ground wire accessbile on the truck. Thanks
It's always a good idea to solder and shrink wrap any wires that are exposed to the elements as opposed to crimp terminals. This will last much longer and save some headaches in the future.
Where can I get one of those T-connectors? I have been looking for one of those for years. They only sell them for late model trucks. At least where I've been looking that's all that I can find. I know what they look like, I just can't find on for my '76.
