c6 trans pan gasket
I just finished replacing the pan gasket on my c6 (first time ever). The rear three bolts are a nightmare! Everything is in good and nothing is leaking...kotos to me lol. I'm just wondering if there is any tricks to make it easier next time? hopefully never lol

befor i put my tranny in i did mine on the bench.....only thing i can suggest is set the gasket out for a little while, then put every other couple bolts in, and let it sit over night.....or at least thats what i did.

If the bolts seem to be seized up a bit going into the housing or coming out? I'd actually use something like anti-seize on the threads of each thread to ensure things go smoothly. Kinda like the same thing used on spark plugs to keep them from welding into the head.
It's cheap insurance. Plus you don't have to go nuts with it, just a very light coating.
