Well, my new tip came in unexpectedly today. It was a nice surprise when i got off work. Went outside with the sawzall and installed her up. However I do not have a pic of the installed product, my cameras battery was dead and it was too dark for a good cell pic.
but anyways, to hold you off until the finished product, here is a little comparison pic ( sorry about cell quality ). Next to it is my size 12 docs for comparision. . .
oh and sorry about starting a thread, im real excited about it, i finally got rid of my cheap dinky one that was 5" ID and 5" OD and only 12" long
Bet that was a chilly operation. Glad ya got it on there. I did my MKO in 20s with 15 mph winds so I know how you feel. I felt like a popsicle when it was done, but it was going on.
Sadly, I have had people tell me my 6" tip looks like a ricer fartcan tip sticking out of there. Hmmm. I don't remember ever seeing a 6" tip on one, and never a 5" exhaust. Opinions vary.

GO BIG, OR GO HOME.
looks great Nic. by any chance do you know if they had a 4" inlet to 6" that is 24-28" long? I need two for my horizontal stacks (see gallery)
i have yet to get a pic on the truck it is snowy outside
and actually, all of you guys are a little off, its actually a 7" tip as stated, go big or go home. i wanted the biggest tip around and it actually took me a while to find one.
Lookin for the biggest tip? Run a 36'' long 7'' mitre stack out the back!!!
Before you laugh too hard...it has been done...
Of course it was a goofy friend of a buddy, a 12V Cummins owner. Cut down a damaged mitre stack and rigged it as his tailpipe. Wow, talk about REDICULOUS!!!...
kris-its an mko but i guess you know that now that i told nick where i got it
i like it better than running a cut down stack because it actually looks like a tip, it has slash cut rolled edges and its inlet is 5 so i dont have to buy an adapter or jimmy something up

LOL! I was kidding! His stack job was a hacked up mess. Looked terrible. Yours is the way to go if your wanting a tip that big. No doubt it will be a clean install. Post up a pic!
