I was wondering if anyone knew, or could point me to a place that has the stock specifications for an EFI 460 in a 1997 F350. I bought the truck used and am interested in how these specs compare to some of the newer engines. Any help would be really appreciated.
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 04-Mar-02 AT 11:31 PM (EST)]That info comes from service literature I've collected over the years....specification books, dealer brochures, service manuals, etc. The 1997 EFI460 specs came right out of the 1997 F-SERIES HEAVY DUTY/SUPER DUTY brochure which covers the F-250HD/F-350/F-Superduty(F-450).
You are absolutely correct, my motor tested out at 8.8:1 before i milled the heads.
