a) Joints without a zerk and pre-greased and don't require any more than they have when you buy them.
b) WD40 is not a lubricant, it's a penetrant. You should NEVER use WD40 to lubricate something like a bearing or a ujoint.
c) Where in the heck did you spray WD40?!

Skandocious is right. They should be pre grease.
But I will say this to Skandocious. WD-40 isn't a penetrand it is a water displacement.
That is where the name actually came from. Water Displacement, and it took 40 formulas (tries) to get that Formula.
Just saying.

True that it does displace water, but yes it is in fact a penetrant.

Okay, jeez.
Hey if you take out the part where I said it's not a penetrant, then were both right.
Guess you really do learn something new everyday.

I would pull the u-joints out/apart and put some grease in them.
nailed it. wd-40 and 8 hour drive. probably left all the grease in Ohio

Not to keep adding, but WD-40 is great if u use it right. (right place, right thing).
U-joints aren't one of them.
