Damn! Sorry all, I did not even think about checking in here after I accepted Steve's invite. I have dropped in a few times but nothing was posted yet, anyways, thanks for all the "welcomes". Mine is in my friends shop right now, finally getting the lift and other parts installed this week, got tired of them taking up space in my garage. For introduction, I'm 36, divorced since 2002(?) after a 10 year mistake my ex & I made at very young ages, my son is 13 my girlfriend lives with me here in Simi Valley. Been here since 1985 when we first met in junior h.s. We all have dirt bikes and try to do some trail riding when we can (jr. still doesn't have his m/c legs). I also have an 2005 Hayabusa that I've taken to the track a few times and can't get enough miles on it due to my family & business needs. Spent a few years in Idaho when I was growing up as my family owned a hunting outfit so I learned how to fish rivers/ creeks real good for trout & steelhead but haven't done much of that here in Ca. Saltwater is now my thing.....love chasing the albacore and bluefin! O.k. enough of my long boring post already.
Welcome to the chapter once again, Derek. I'm thinking the April meeting is going to be up your way somewhere, so we can get the Simi/TO/Ventura crowd out. Any suggestions for a location?
Welcome to MeyerzF350, I'll have to think about a meeting place, never been to one so not too sure. Is it for just a few hours or would it be like the Calico clean up where we'd need a place to camp?
Not sure yet, have to wait for the boy's baseball schedule to come out and check with my g.f. that we don't have something scheduled already........she's my life size PDA when it comes to schedules/ events.
My name is Ray, I live in Oceanside. I am looking for a place to get my gears upgraded from 3.73 to 4.30 close by. Any recommendations? Thanks
Oh, yeah, almost forgot, lets see. I am 32, Marine moving back to NC this summer. I am in Kuwait at the moment but am having my wife take care of my 2005 F-350 CC LWB 6.0 King Ranch 4x4 and 5 y/o son while I am deployed. I have been married 13 years and a member for quite some time here. I usually do more reading than posting. My first for was back in 1992 and was a 1972 f-100 w/ 390. Man, I miss her. My last one was a 1979 f150 ranger lariat 4x4 and now the big dawg power stroke.

I don't know of anyplace close to Oceanside, maybe someone from SD will pop in to give you a tip.
Thanks for what you are doing in Kuwait in the service of our country, Ray. We appreciate it. Be safe .
