It's alright Mr. SteveBricks, I will forgive you eventually. I was beginning to wonder if I had done something wrong. Oh well, I am a big girl, I can take it, I didn't cry...... Much
My name is Ray, I live in Oceanside. I am looking for a place to get my gears upgraded from 3.73 to 4.30 close by. Any recommendations? Thanks
Oh, yeah, almost forgot, lets see. I am 32, Marine moving back to NC this summer. I am in Kuwait at the moment but am having my wife take care of my 2005 F-350 CC LWB 6.0 King Ranch 4x4 and 5 y/o son while I am deployed. I have been married 13 years and a member for quite some time here. I usually do more reading than posting. My first for was back in 1992 and was a 1972 f-100 w/ 390. Man, I miss her. My last one was a 1979 f150 ranger lariat 4x4 and now the big dawg power stroke.
Thank you Ray for serving the country and "protecting our freedom!!!!"
desert1dog is our 145th and newest chapter member! Welcome, Mark - good to have you.
It is a privilege to be accepted to the Chapter and I look forward to meeting the members. Unfortunately, I just bought the Truck so I am in the process of replacing all of the fluids and "checking everything out."
I am 54 years old and live in Landers which is between Yucca Valley and Victorville via Highway 247. I live in an 18' Trailer with a "four-legged friend" and just love living in the Hi-Desert and living in a Trailer is like camping to me which I thoroughly enjoy. I am hopeful that you arrange the Oceanside meeting and perhaps I will "have her road-ready" by then. I am an Outdoorsman, Adventurer, Hiker, Nature Lover and a Cyclist/Mountain Bicycle. I thoroughly enjoy the peace and serenity of the desert and observing the "critters." My friend is a very rare Korea Jindo; one on the list of the 24 extremely rare breeds of dogs and there are only 30,000 on the entire planet. She will take on anything and one day she killed a Coyote and drug it up the road to eat it! I stopped her as Coyotes are scavengers and are highly prone to several diseases. The Jindo has been officially clocked at 35 MPH so I worry not as there is nothing here that can catch her and nothing that she cannot catch. I adopted her as she was thrown out of a car and had Parvovirus but has fully recovered! We were both abused and neglected (no sympathy please) and we have such a close bond. I suppose that I have provided a bit to much for now but I wish to THANK THE ENTIRE CHAPTER for accepting me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Postscript: You have probably all figured out the reason for my User ID as I live in the desert and have 1 dog.
Thanks and Godspeed!

imlowr2 - our newest member - from Santa Clarita - take a look at (and vote for) that beautiful 56 of his in the "Vote for my Truck" thread in this forum.
Ed is the 147th to join the SoCal/Hawai'i chapter.
Well, looks like I'm officially a member of the So Cal group. My name is Ed, I live in the Santa Clarita area. I own a 56 Ford F100 and also have a restored 66 Mustang which I recently completed to original condition. I guess you can say I'm a Ford person since all I've owned and had interest in was Ford vehicles. I have been posting in the 48-60 trucks forum for several years and not new to FTE. I also own a 98 F150 which is lowered and has the Lightning front end package on it. It's my daily driver. I think there is a picture on my gallery. I'm married, have twin boys age 10. Am looking forward to meeting some of you and posting in this forum. Thanks for letting me join this Chapter and to those who voted for my truck a big thanks! Someone told me if I joined today, I'd get a free trip for myself and family to Hawaii to visit our chapter there? Was I mislead?????
Ed
I got a free trip to Hawai'i for joining this chapter, What gives Steve?
Are you trying to butter me up for something? Pineapples maybe?
You should try our home grown chocolate, I hear it is good.
My GF just got some from work yesterday and I hope she saves some for me.
