gear drive question........
i'm looking into running a gear drive on my 514. Now, Pete Jackson only makes a "noisy" version, and the Edelbrock gear drive says it's noisy. i like the sound,....to a point. i've heard gear drives that were just flat out obnoxious, and i've heard one on a 351 Cleveland that sounded sweeeeeet. have any of you had either on your 460/429, and was it LOUD, or just a nice whine. just curious.

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 15-Mar-02 AT 04:44 AM (EST)]I have a Pete Jackson in my 460 and it sounds wicked! Its not so loud that it will drive you nuts but you can tell its there! I had an old man tell me "Son you better check you power steering pump, its makin noise." Anyhow, it keeps the timing right on track and I haven't had any problems with it!
