I am wanting to re-do my leveling kit. I did an 2" add-a-leaf and that was a big mistake, rides like crap. I was woundering what people thought was the big pros and cons of both mini spring pack and shackle set ups.
Any help would be great.
I have a 2004 F-250 CC 4X4 5.4l
4" blocks already in rear.
I am looking at either 1.5" Shackle, 2.5" Shackle or the 2" mini spring pack.
Would I need an adjustable track bar for these??
Right now my steering wheel is a little to the right with the add a leafs and didn't know if an adjustable track bar would fix that or maybe just getting a drop backet would work?

I did the same thing at first to level mine (front add-a-leaf). When I removed the add-a-leaf from the front, I put it in the rear instead of going to a 4inch block. (I didn't want the axle wrap) I then installed a tuff country leveling kit up front which was for a F350. Mine sits level and has a much smoother ride now.
I too, have the tuff country 2.5" leveling kit and it seems to ride pretty much like stock. For the price I would go with the TC spring pack. It comes with the a new track bar bracket and if your track bar is already 1" in diameter then you don't need to get an adjustable track bar.
I did a 1 1/2" shackle on mine. I got it on ebay for about $60.00 two years ago. Rides fine, looks good, not a bit of problem with it. One of these sets...
Hang 10, what I mean by performance is I want a smooth ride. I do not off road with it. I do drive on a a lot of rough roads here where I live so I want a ride that is like stock.
So you said "when I did mine" are you talking Shackle or mini spring pack?
I did shackle, look 6 posts above this one where I originally posted about it. Shows the ones I used. Basically the same as what you are talking about. No, it didn't make it ride any rougher. Everything stayed the same, except for the height.
I didn't replace bushings. I did replace the shocks though, as it sounds like you are going to. I didn't even take the sway bar loose, I removed the old shackles and used a small scissor jack between the leafs and the frame to open the springs enough to get the shackle on. Took about an hour to do both sides.
I did the 2" mini spring pack , (4-short 1/2" thick springs) , and the skyjacker rear add a leaf , same ride quality up front , only slightly stiffer in the rear .
