overhead mpg
I've never done a long hand calculation to compare with the "lie a meter" as many refer to it. Is the overhead generally less or more than a calculated figure? Or just incorrect either side? I've never seen mine over 12.2mpg, even on the highway.

For my truck, my hand calculation is always .5 to 1.5 mpg LESS than the electronic. It does differ from truck-to-truck though. Some say theirs is accurate. The big differences occur when the truck is modded w/ different diameter tires/rims and not reprogrammed for the change.
