1a Learner's Exams Help!

Hello All!

I was just wondering about the 1A learners exams. I have not taken any course as of yet, just working on the learners.

I have to write 7 exams, from classes 1-5 I believe, semi-driving, and airbrakes.

What type of questions are on these exams?
Are they difficult?
Did you have to study much or is it more common sense?

I am sort of nervous going into truck driving as I have never driven a semi before.

Thanks appreciated for all your help!

Hi and welcome Briz_32.
Where in Sask are you from?
I`d like to invite you to join this chapter.
There is some study, Snowking, who just took the course last year and preppy can fill you in on the latest.

It is easy but get the books, there are enough static quesions. Everyone I know who was done it without study books fail there first time then get the books.

I did this all 1 year ago almost to the day, any Q's just ask bud.

P.S. I got the gonvernment to pay for my 1A, just a tip for you.....

I paid for my 1a myself, didnt have enough government funds for me! The learners is peanuts, very easy. If you fail one test they let you take a rewrite. Read the books and you should be fine.

Who are you going through to get your licence? My womans aunt is a sgi drivers examiner, and she let us in on which training company is better and which one is poorer.

That reminds me when you do your test, get it tested by SGI they let the odd slip go.
