Need specs on Holley E5HE-9510, LIST 50258-1
Found this Holley Carburator on a 460 in a F250 in the local boneyard. Would like to know if it would be suitable for use on my 78 Bronco with a 351 and appropriate Edelbrock manifold. Tried to search for info on it on the Holley web-site and other sources without too much luck. Can anyone tell me what standard Holley it's equivalent to? Other useful info would be appreciated also. Oh yea -- the numbers on the horn are... E5HE-9510-0B (08?),
LIST-50258-1, 1235.

If you saw it in an 85 f250, it may be the stock carb. If you could find out which carbs were available on the 85, you might have your answer.
The local speed shop here can't find the Holley List number in any of his books, and the Ford parts guy can't look up part descriptions by number (I don't know why).
I'll ask my friend. He's really into Holey carbs and might even know someone at Holley.

Info I downloaded from another site INDICATES that this carburetor was a Holman/Moody Hipo application around 1985. But was Holman/Moody doing any FOMOCO work in 1985? If so, I'd try to buy the carb cheap and then shop it on ebay. Use that money to buy a non-Ford Holley, with more straight-forward adjustments than the emission-era Ford carburetors. FWIW.

It looks like a 4180 by comparing it to pictures of one. Would like to be more certain before I order a rebuild kit. I've posted some pictures in my gallery under "Mystery Carb" if anyone wants to take a gander at it and say yea/ney on it being a 4180.

Looks like a 4180 to me--check for the idle air bleeds in the throttle body and if they are there it is almost undoubtedly a 4180. Great pictures!! How did you do that? And does anybody else read the list # as "50259-1"? BTW, your carb was manufactured April 3, 1985 (build date "1235" on the air horn).

Well I've decided to order a 4180 kit and keep my fingers crossed. I used my Fujifilm 2800 digital camera to take the pictures. I set it to macro and just got close to the carb. I turned the flash off and used a desktop Hi_intensity light to light up the carb.
