I would not worry about the delta, those hardly ever move. The only one you need to adj is the high pressure shut off. If the delta is not impacted every thing should just shift down. If you don't find where to adj, pick up the phone and call them. Lower the pressure should not void the warranty. I could see where raising it would. But installing a check would be a quick fix. This keeps the compressors from starting up at the same time which is good when it comes to your wiring and starters.

I fully expect that the 135 and 125 max that you are talking about is the max pressure that the controls will allow the pressure to build to. What you need to check into is the maximum rating of the TANKS. I will be really shocked if the tanks ratings are not higher than the controls settings.

Good luck,

Wow you are right and i am really dumb. Looks like i owe ya a beer. Both tanks are rated for 150PSI. I was looking at the controls pressures, never noticed the tag rivetted on the pump frame with the tank rating until you told me about it. It was right under my nose. Thanks guys for all of your help. This is good in 2 ways, i don't have to buy another regulator and i don't have to try and match the tanks cut off pressures.

Yeah, now that you've satisfied the safety concerns, just plumb 'em up and turn 'em on. I'll bet you that beer that it all works great.

For maximum flexibility, use a ball valve at the output of each compressor before the main line connection. This way you can use one or the other or isolate one for maintenance without draining both. Being able to put the tanks online individually as well as turn each one on and off individually, gives maximum system flexibility. You now have an 80 + gallon reserve capacity and the combined CFM of both compressor units.

Keep us posted.
