I think I am going to run it out the side kinda like Tjs 4"
I watched one on you tube with straight pipe stock size and it had too much of a snappy pitch to it

i have a 3in dp to 5 in side exhaust before the right rear tire. It is very loud and sounds good just wish i would have went past the tire cause the rim is always black.

Thanks guys I am going to try to get some shop time at work this week I have lots of 4" pipe to play with so I will try a few different things
It's hard to get shop time this time of year my boss likes us to squeeze every piece of equipment in there and it's a pain in the but to move stuff to work on my truck

all stock pipe with no muffler does sound like crap in my opinion, its very raspy and sounds more like a cummins. those vids are with 4 inch pipe, no muffler, the 5 inch is a whole new sound. i will go get a video of it in a minute, it will give you a better idea of my cold start smoke too, its 19 here right now and the truck hasnt run since 5 yesterday

Where are these videos of 5 inch exhaust?!?!?! i wanna know if it sounds better than mine!!!!oh, and there are a few videos of my truck with the 5 inch stacks in my signiture. my exhaust goes from stock downpipe to an empty cat. converter into 4 inch stainless and then into the 4 inch y-pipe which bevels out into 5 inch right before the stacks.

i have the video on the computer but i cant upload it to youtube, for soe reason it saved to the computer at 117 megabites so i am loading it into my movie program to convert it down in size. sit tight, wont be long now. start popping the popcorn
