I am getting ready to purchase a new set of tires for my 2000 EB Expy 125K I have Michelin cross terrains on there now great tires I would buy them again no question except for the 1000.00 price tag for them installed any way does anyone have any experience with the cooper discoverer H/T I think that may be my next tire.
If you have had such good luck with the michelin why change, in the long run the little extra you might pay should be well worth the money. I have the LTX on mine and I could'nt be happier with 65000 miles on them. When time come I'll get the same one's put back on.
I bought the bridgestone dueler at revos for my 99 expedition and I would not buy another tire. They look nice ride nice with no road noise at all. Snow gives them no problem at all either. Ratings on this tire was great as well which is why I tired them and love them.
bridgestone dueler revos are on my 2000expedition. the ride is great, and in snow and ice we have little trouble without switching to 4wheel hi or low. we live out in the coun try and the plow sometime dont get down are road for hours. for the money we are satified. good luck and do research at tire rack it is helpful
Sorry no info about Cooper tires, but I have always had great performance and durability out of the Bridgestone Dueler A/T (not revo - out of my price range). I recently got a set of 4 delivered from a California tire store (Good Guys Tire Express) for about $450 (265/70r17 Dueler A/T RH-S - these are a new P design and much more civilized than the RH-S truck tires of the Hummer H3 upgraded tire package). Because of my limited tire budget, my next choice would be Dayton Timberline A/T.
Cheers. John
I have had the Cooper Discoverer ATs on my Expy for 50,000 miles. No complaints really, they are not the best tire out there but for the price they are hard to beat. Had BFG's on my truck--never again. Also had the Revo's on my truck at work. Everyone on this forum seems to love them but I could not stand them. The shop started putting Coopers on the vehicles and they seemed alot better to me.
we had these on for 40000 miles they were ok seeing they were the replacement for the recalled firestones. The bf goodrich long ????? T/A's lasted good and wore reasonable well. they did not have the bite in the snow as i wanted and seemed to give a false sense of traction in the rain. overall i went looking for a better tire.
