Diesel Manor has a pilar set by ISS pro. PYRO/BOOST/TRANNY TEMP for 299. Obviously not the best but sure they will suffice. What do you think my average EGT will be
Those are the ones I'm getting. Mine will be a few bucks cheaper but they match factory gauges really well.
so you will have to get mechanical gauges or an electronic display. I think doubledee has a Commander. I bet he'd send you pics if you asked nicely.
I think you mean analog gauges(which are either electrical or mechanical). One thing to note about the digital OBD-II monitors(from what I have learned from using one before I switched to analog gauges) is that other then your egt gauge, everything else runs cooler. Trans temp has run 40 degrees cooler(same route 1 degree or 2 degree ambiant temp difference) using the digital gauge v. the analog gauges and I'm willing to bet it's because where Ford has their sensors. I don't think that's good because if you set your tranny warning at 200 based on the digital readout, your tranny fluid might actually be higher then that. Same goes for the volt gauge, I was reading 13.2 constantly and with the analog gauge I read upwards to 14 depending on the eletrical load I'm putting on it. It's ok to use the digital gauge just set your warnings with the fact that your going to be seeing cooler and lower readings from the get go.
