picked up my 429...

I picked up my 429 thunderjet today from a guy that had it... it is suppose to be a 68 model... I havent got into rebuilding it yet but the casting numbers on the heads are C8VE-E... are these good heads??? anything else I should know before rebuildin it?? its goin in my 79 in place of the old 77 model 460.. that is kinda wore out..

picked up my 429...

Good heads.

Push rod length is important.

It won't run as well on 91-92 octane pump gas.
