Electric fuel pump

I have a 69 429 motor in a 78 bronco. I have bought a couple different fuel pumps and none of them work. It is almost like there is nothing to hit the lever. Anyways i bought an electric the is regulated at 5.5 to 9 lbs. non adjustable. Will this be OK on a holley 600 4 barrel carb. I have been told that holley normally calls for 7 lbs. The truck will not be runing for a few days yet. I am just puting the motor in. Any info would be appreciated. Tahnks in advance.

Electric fuel pump

I'd keep the pressure regulated between 5-6 lbs. I think 7 lbs. is getting borderline on having the Holley flood.

I gotta agree with Deen, don't go over 6. Stick in the lower 5.5 range or so. You'll have plenty of fuel for that 600 Holley!
