Gauges

So I have been trying to make my gauges work on my 74 F250. Just out of curiosity I put a test light on the left/hot side of the inst gauge fuse in the fuse block and it is dead. I also have a large black with green stripe wire protruding out of the top of the fuse block that is cut off. Does anyone have a diagram for this?

The Gauges work off a 5v pulsing power to ground signal.

The ICVR controls that pulsing power and everything is done through the 18 pin connectors on the back.

Check the back of the fuse box for corrosion.

I'll check for an illustration

Thanks for the reply. I did replace the ICVR. What is weird is that the fuse block has some dead spots. I did remove the exposed wire sticking out of the top of the block. This whole thing started because I was trying to make my fuel gauge work but it has occured to me that since this truck has an aftermarked fuel tank, maybe they didn't bother hooking up the gauge. I have seen worse on this truck.
