Edlebrock or Holley 750 CFM for Big Block 460?

Guys,

I am having a 460 built to put in my 1984 Ford Bronco. I have always been an edlebrock carb fan, but Holley's have come along way in there quality and what not.. The truck is gonna be a daily driver and a tow-rig (towing my 1986 beater bronco). I have heard I can get by with a 600cfm.. but I won't get all the power out of the engine that I could... It has 32's with 3'50 ratio with C-6 auto....

I am either gonna get the

Edelbrock #1411 750cfm w/electric chock
or
Holley 4160 750 cfm w/vac secondaris w/electric chock..

Your Thoughts please...

I'd use the Edelbrock, very easy to dial in, and reliable.

Whatever carb your most familiar with will work...your going in the right direction by selecting a vacuum secondary carb. My personal preference would be the Holley since you can buy a number of books for tuning hints and the after market is huge for tuning/racing/modifying parts for the Holley. Just my 2 cents...Deen

Steve --

Just my 2 cents worth - I love my Holley Avenger 780 --- the thing screams when I want it to. If I was 20 years younger, I would get into a LOT of trouble with the GA State Smokeys and Harrison!! Gas mileage with the vacuum secondaries isn't bad, either. Driven daily.....

im pretty partial to my edelbrock on my 460.... its a 750 w/electric choke... I love it... to start it on even the coldest mornings I just put it on the floor once to set the choke and hit the key and she fires in.. every time.. ive had it on there for about 3 years and never had the first problem... it still works like a new one and when you open the 4 on it.. it hits hard... I like my edelbrock what can i say...
