If you want a cabin air filter, go buy some 1.99 filter masks lol.
My mom took her Cougar (99) in when the IAC died and the dealer offered to replace the cabin air filter for half price for her inconvience. 80 bucks.
the filter box is mounted up under the cowl right on the firewall. It's such a pain to get to in that tiny engine bay with the V6 that it's almost worth 80 bucks for them to do it.
