5 speed short throw shifter

Is hurst the only one who makes a short throw for the 5 speed manual?
If Not does anyone have any experiance with a diffrent one?

I looked for two weeks and all I found was the Hurst shifter. It works really well and has adjustable shift stops built in to the neck of the shifter. really saves the syncros...

short through shifter is one that has its shift mechanisim relocated in the shifter to shorten the required travel of the handle to make the gear selections.

Neat. I assume it would shift quicker, maybe more smoother, kind of like a car then?

that will depend on the condition of your tranny, and it is still a truck with a 10 foot shift handle, verses a car with a 4in shift handle so the shift is definatly shorter and mine feels much better the the stock shifter.
