Fuel pump supply (or lack off) problem
I've got an '83 F250 with the 460 engine and an automatic transmission, I just replaced the headgaskets etc. Now i've put everything back together and it won't run. The problem is that it runs when i poor some gas straight into the carburator but then it stalls cause it runs out of gas. I disconnected the fuel supply line to the carburator and had someone cranck the engine but nothing comes out, i checked the inerta switch wich works. Anyone has some ideas what i can do or test ? Suggestions wellcome.
Thanks, Aalbert.

Fuel pump supply (or lack off) problem
One cause could be that you forgot to install the fuel pump eccentric on the front of the cam(if you replaced the timing chain). Another could be that the fuel pump is bad. Third could be the fuel line is bad, filter plugged or a loose hose clamp on a rubber to steel fuel line connection.
