New Tires

So I'm in the market for new tires. 2003 F350 6.0 PSD 4x4. I'm thinking BF Goodrich AT's or Maybe the new MT? Really only use 4x4 on logging roads in the snow. Rains alot so wet highway traction is a concern. Don't care about noise. Any thoughts?

Currently have 285/75/r16 with stock suspension but going to install leveling kit before the new rubber as I get some rubbing in driver side wheel well. Maybe go up to 35"

maybe a dead thread but I'm thinking 295/75/r16, i looked at the tire size thing on Goodrich's website and though 35's would look cool, another inch of clearance isn't gonna do much for me at this stage. Maybe go to a 4" lift in a few years and put the big ones on then.

I agree. They are very quiet for a M/T and they balance with VERY little weight. Toyo makes a damn good M/T.

If you put a leveling kit on you will not be able to run 35" or 315's if you want Zero rubbing issues. You might be able to run a 3" hanger system and fit 35" but not sure on that.

I have 295 with a leveling kit and IMHO they look really good. But there is not a lot of options in 295's. You can also run 305's but you may want a wider rim, especially if you are going to use your truck for hauling or towing.

I am running Nitto Terra Grapplers and so far I am pretty happy witht them.
They are load D but 3410 lb. rating. Most load D tires are 3300 lbs.

So you need to think about what you are going to do with the truck. on wether you want load D or E tires.

I see you have a Diesel. You will probably want to stay with load E tires with that heavy front end.

I have the Toyo Open Country MT's. 275/70-18. Love them. Not too loud and ride really well for a MT. Go real good in the mud too.

Yes, going to be pulling a horse trailer once a month or so. Can anyone attest to the Toyo Mt in snow?
