White would look nice, but get dirty in a hurry.

My Titan was white....normal white and the cover looked nice. It finished what Nissan started. It does get very dirty but I coated the paint with heavy amounts diamond clear. I just hit with a soapy wheel brush(horse hair) and hose off.

I just put my K&N intake in and i completly agree with everything carbonmetallic wrote... it's definately worth it. Shifts alot better and revs much faster, plus the engine seems to run smoother during high rpm acceleration but the intake did get noisy. It almost feels like a different vehicle but i also had the OEM muffler replaced by a 18" maggy a while ago so i'm sure it's breathing better. I can't comment on the MPG gain if any as of yet but i'll know this weekend.

Thanks for the update. Let us know if you see any MPG gain or loss. I am thinking I just may have to bite the bullet and get one....but I HATE K&Ns.....we'll see.

I just went shopping BUT the intake is not smog legal so I will pass. I hope K&N get it an EO number as I would have bought it. I guess exhaust is the way to go now.

Someone has to look up that part number and see what it retails for.
It reduces engine intake noise besides making for a neater looking installation.l
